My view on basic income

Believe in yourself, Trust your bank, Believe in basic income.
Basic Income Performance in Bern, Oct 2013.jpg
On 4 October 2013, Swiss activists from Generation Grundeinkommen organized a performance in Bern in which roughly 8 million coins, one coin representing one person out of Switzerland's population, were dumped on a public square. This was done in celebration of the successful collection of more than 125,000 signatures, forcing the government to hold a referendum on whether or not to incorporate the concept of basic income in the Federal constitution. The measure did not pass, with 76.9% voting against basic income. From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia.

According to the magazine "Street Lamps", the Croatian magazine about homeless people, there is a significant increase in the number of homeless people:
  • 𝖫𝖮𝖭𝖣𝖮𝖭: 50% more families in temporary accommodation than 2010
  • 𝖠𝖳𝖧𝖤𝖭𝖲: 1 of 70 people are now homeless, most of them became homeless since 2011
  • 𝖢𝖮𝖯𝖤𝖭𝖧𝖠𝖦𝖤𝖭: 75% more young homeless people since 2009
  • 𝖢𝖱𝖮𝖠𝖳𝖨𝖠: less than 500 places in homeless shelters, the needs are many times greater
Eurostat (a part of the 𝖤𝖴 🇪🇺 administration, with main responsibilities, are to provide statistical information) is not collecting any statistics on homeless people. It's scandalous.

The only light point is the data obtained from 𝖨𝖭𝖲𝖯 (International Network of Street Papers):
  • 𝖥𝖨𝖭𝖫𝖠𝖭𝖣: 10% less homeless in the last 3 years
Winter is coming, December has the largest percentage of suicide for the whole year, and some homeless people are frozen if temperatures fall below zero. Please help a homeless person get back on their feet, now is the right time!

Europe - my home!

There is beautiful nature, a great diversity of flora and fauna. I believe there is still a lot of work to do in human rights.

My Country? Europe.

This page has the aim to inform about Europe, its culture, and its people, in order to foster a sense of belonging to it and set the ground for a European Federation.
