Ever-changing Atlas of the World

Over 10,000 join rally calling for Moldova to be unified with Romania

More than 10,000 people took to the streets in Moldova on Sunday to call for the country's reunification with Romania. The demonstration highlighted the tensions between pro-Western and Moscow backed factions ahead of elections in November. However, a union between 𝖤𝖴 member state Romania and its neighbour to the northeast remains unlikely.

Spain Catalonia: Puigdemont's arrest in Germany sparks mass protests

Protests have broken out across Catalonia as former leader Carles Puigdemont spends the night in a German prison. Mr Puigdemont, who is wanted in Spain for sedition and rebellion, was detained by German police acting on a European arrest warrant. Thousands of his supporters have turned out in Barcelona and other nearby cities to protest his arrest.

I oppose continuous printing of atlases, maps, and so on. Please think about the environment before making life-changing steps in a group. It is difficult to replace a country, it's not the same as changing a profile from Facebook to Twitter (or to Google+ for that matter 😃 )

I often wonder: will eliminate the paper (enabling tablets, laptops) in the school skyrocket changes in geography? Think about children in the school, what geography means to them. Organize a new country only if you are absolutely certain you won't fall behind the world!

It would be nice to see some animation of changing atlas, let's say from 80'' till now.
