My Blogging Marathon 2025: A Recap
Hey there! I’m Luka Jagor, and I’ve been pouring my heart into the Blogging Marathon 2025, a vibrant project where I blend creativity, tech, and a bit of social commentary across platforms like my personal blog, Tumblr, X, Strava, Medium, and YouTube. As of June 2025, I’ve been sharing everything from stunning floral photography to urgent climate calls. Here’s a first-person rundown of what I’ve been up to, ready for you to vibe with and share!
Nature Is My Muse
I’m obsessed with capturing nature’s beauty. From the vibrant blooms of my spring-pruned hydrangeas to the delicate pink surfinia and red wax begonias on my balcony, I’ve been snapping photos that make my heart sing. My posts on www.luka.jagor.info celebrate these moments—think orange marigolds glowing under the sun or a grassy field swaying under a blue sky. But it’s not just aesthetics; I’m deeply invested in our planet. I’ve been shouting about Earth Overshoot Day (July 24, 2025), pushing for mangrove planting, and celebrating World Oceans Day with a call to protect our blue heart. You’ll often see me linking to climateclock.world because, honestly, we’re on a tight deadline to save our home.
Speaking Up for What Matters
I’m not shy about diving into big topics. On X and my Blogger site, I’ve been tackling climate justice, civil liberties, and even gang violence (#StopGangWars). I believe climate action shouldn’t cost us our freedom, and I’ve written about why developing nations deserve better than the $300 billion climate finance deal from November 2024. I’m also all about love and inclusion—Pride Month is a highlight for me, where I celebrate LGBTQA+ culture and raving as expressions of identity (#EqualityForAll). Oh, and I marked my one-year #PETAversary, cheering for animal rights alongside @PETA.
Living My Best Life
When I’m not blogging, I’m out there living! I’ve been hitting the trails around Zagreb, logging runs (like a 2.6km sprint at Jarun) and walks (up to 9km) on Strava. My kitchen’s been a playground too—I shared my salt bagel-making process and a rustic banana bowl recipe that’s as simple as it is delicious. Creatively, I’ve poured my soul into a poem called “Always Wanted” and a satirical radio drama, “Napoleon vs. Cerva.” Plus, I’m dabbling in digital art, like my Spin Image Background for my free gallery.
Tech Geek Mode: On
I’m a bit of a tech nerd, and I love sharing my progress. I’ve been working on a gallery CMS, tweaking structured image metadata, and setting up Open Graph cards for my photography. My #100DaysOfCode challenge is going strong, with a recap on Medium about my first 20 days. I’m also launching a cool new widget, “Yesterday: Debrief from the Day Before,” and an eBook (just 5.6 MB!) capturing the beauty of Winter 2024 and Spring 2025. You can grab it via my X post!
Radio Waves and Drama
One of my proudest moments? Launching the 7th channel for Rave the World Radio with a radio drama premiere! I adapted “Spin to Europe,” a story set in Zagreb from 2010–2011, and shared it on www.tumblr.luka.jagor.info. Check out the Goa Trance vibes on ravetheworldradio.com—it’s pure energy (#RaveCulture).
Capturing the World
Photography is my love language. Whether it’s an unfinished concrete building I nicknamed #SkeletorBuilding or a misty forest I reblogged from mountainbaby25, I’m all about visuals. My Tumblr is packed with global shots—think Icelandic lakes, Japanese mountains, or Philadelphia parks. I even photographed a WWF billboard that hit me right in the feels.

Why I Do This
Blogging Marathon 2025 is my way of weaving together the things I love—nature, tech, activism, and storytelling. I’m out here celebrating life’s kaleidoscope, from a swan gliding on a pond to the thrill of a new radio channel. I’m pushing for a better world, whether it’s through climate action, supporting Greenpeace Africa, or cheering for love in all its forms. And I’m connecting with you all, from Zagreb to Brazil, through every photo, post, and hashtag.
Thanks for joining me on this journey! Let’s keep creating, caring, and making waves together. π✨
