Automation & Employment Impacts (π˜‘π˜°π˜£π˜΄ 𝘎𝘒π˜ͺ𝘯)

Damir Habijan: 'Artificial intelligence brings new jobs'

I think back on my time as a volunteer Wikipedia editor. I didn’t contribute extensively, just a few significant changes. What struck me most was how reactionary forces tried to spread disinformation, particularly about the Fourth Industrial Revolution. Specifically, there was a section titled “Fourth Industrial Revolution — Automation & Jobs Loss.” I changed it to “Fourth Industrial Revolution — Automation & Jobs Gain”
The title 'Automation & Jobs Gain' aligns with optimistic projections, such as the World Economic Forum's 2025 report, which forecasts a net gain of 78 million jobs by 2030. In reality, both job creation (170 million) and displacement (92 million) are occurring. The original title, 'Jobs Loss,' was equally biased. A neutral title like 'Automation & Employment Impacts' would better adhere to blogging guidelines while still allowing for the highlighting of job gains. It's crucial for this topic to be discussed openly, with evidence, to ensure community support.
